Comfort Owusu, born on May 27, 2005, is a Ghanaian footballer who currently plays for the Ghanaian club Hasaacas Ladies F.C. and the Ghana National Team. Known primarily for her offensive capabilities, trickery, and technical qualities, Comfort Owusu mainly operates as a right-sided attacking full-back but can also play as a right winger or in midfield.
Her flair, grace, touch, and control on the ball, combined with her speed, agility, and dribbling skills, often see her outmaneuver opponents in one-on-one situations with elaborate feints, such as step-overs. Her explosive pace, energy, and clever movement, both on and off the ball, also make her a dangerous threat on counter-attacks. She is capable of penetrating between opposing defensive lines with attacking runs or positioning herself well up the right flank to receive the ball frequently, providing width for her team.
Moreover, her crossing ability, precise passing, and link-up play with teammates create goal-scoring chances and provide assists. While naturally right-footed, she is also adept with her left foot, enabling her to cut inside from the right wing, attempt shots from outside the area, and even score goals.
Her consistency throughout all her seasons earned her a place in Ghana’s U17 National Team from 2019 to 2022. Now playing for the U20.

Comfort Owusu is an offensive right-back or wing-back who is known, in particular, for her pace, stamina, overlapping attacking runs, and technical skills, which also enable her to play as a winger or in midfield. She is also gifted with good crossing accuracy and distribution, which allows her to link up with midfielders and makes her an effective assist provider along the right flank. In addition to her ability to create chances, she is an accurate striker of the ball and is known for her ability to score goals, in particular, from outside the area or long-range set-pieces.
